Skateboarding — almost hit by car

Category: Audiobrian @ 3:49 am

When I moved in to my apartment for the year, the previous residents left a lot of trash. Included in the trash, was a perfectly functioning skateboard!

The first few nights in my apartment, I spent an hour or so skateboarding around this new place, getting to know my surrounding area. The third night, I took my audio recording setup on a ride, and accidentally ended up recording a car running a stop sign — almost running me over. You can hear the car turn on at 3s, running a stop sign (almost me?) at 20s.

I snore.

Category: Audiobrian @ 12:31 am

A couple of weeks ago, I went camping with some friends (sup dsd?). They said I was snoring!

Me, snoring… inconceivable! Who can trust such accounts of one’s own snoring… they were half-awake, delirious!

Today, I was going through some of my old audio recordings. One of them was 20 minutes long… I fell asleep during the recording!

I snore.

Stage 1 of sleep, ~16 breaths per minute (3m in):

Stage 2 of sleep, ~15 breaths per minute (13m in):

It sounds as if I left the window open sleeping through a cop car siren, an argument, and some cars blasting fat beats.

My recording device ran out of battery before stages 3, 4, and REM sleep. Unfortunate…
